BALTIC PRINCESS continues on the route between Stockholm and Turku - now with a new cruise product

FerryTallink Silja Line announced that BALTIC PRINCESS will continue on the Stockholm-Turku route, instead of returning to the former Kapellskär-Turku route. In addition, a new cruise product, "A Day in Turku", is being introduced from Stockholm. This cruise departs every Tuesday starting 17 September 2024.

The current summer schedule of BALTIC PRINCESS, with daily departures between Stockholm and Turku, is extended until 15 September 2024. From 16 September, BALTIC PRINCESS will continue on the same route, but with "A day in Turku" cruises every Tuesday. This means that the ship will not resume the Kapellskär-Turku route but will instead offer cruises and regular trips between Stockholm and Turku.

Every Tuesday, travellers from Stockholm get the chance to enjoy a relaxing cruise with two nights on board and a full day in the charming city of Turku. The cruise with BALTIC PRINCESS departs from Stockholm at 19:00 in the evening, arrive in Turku at 10:15 the next day, and departs again from Turku at 20:15, leaving plenty of time to explore the city.

During the day in Turku, travellers can experience the city's rich history with a visit to Turku Castle, stroll along the beautiful Aura river, enjoy delicious food at one of the popular restaurants or take the family to one of the city's many museums - a perfect day trip for both families with children and those interested in culture.

- We are very happy that BALTIC PRINCESS continues on its Stockholm-Turku route, and that we can offer "A day in Turku" cruises every Tuesday until next summer. In the past, it has not been possible to stay overnight in Turku and travel back on the same ship. The new cruise makes it possible for travellers to leave their luggage in the cabin while they discover the city, and return to the ship whenever they want during the day, says Matts Gottfarb, Commercial Director at Tallink Silja AB.

BALTIC PRINCESS offers entertainment and activities for all ages. On board there are five restaurants, five bars, four shops, a play area for children, several conference rooms and a relaxing sauna area. There is something here for everyone – from seniors and families with children to business travelers and groups of friends.

Time table for the "A day in Turku" cruises
19:00: Departure from Stockholm
05:10: Stop in Långnäs (Finnish time)
10:15: Arrival in Turku (Finnish time)
20:15: Departure from Turku (Finnish time)
00:40: Stop in Långnäs, Åland (Finnish time)
06:10: Arrival in Stockholm
