SPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV conducted its first sea trial
FerrySPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV returned to the RMC shipyard from its first sea trial on Monday, 24th of June. During the sea trial, the ship's systems and performance were tested. The sea trial was successful, and work on the ship continues. A second sea trial will be conducted before the ship is handed over to TT-Line Spirit of Tasmania.
Upon its expected completion in August, SPIRIT OF TASMANIA IV will operate between mainland Australia and Tasmania on the Bass Strait, known for its challenging sea conditions.
Sister, SPIRIT OF TASMANIA V, will be delivered at the end of the year.
