Tallink Grupp carried a total of 1,715,496 passengers, which is 3.4% less than in the third quarter of 2023 (1,775,821 in Q3 2023). The company operated a total of 1 840 trips during the third quarter this year, which is 131 trips more than during the same quarter in 2023 (1,709 trips in Q3 2023).

Commenting on the financial results of the third quarter and the first nine months of 2024, Tallink Grupp's CEO Paavo Nõgene said:

"Considering the circumstances and the market conditions, our third quarter results turned out quite strong. When we take into account the fact that two of our vessels were and remain suspended looking for new work at the moment, the economic environment around us was and is extremely fragile and consumer confidence low, then I feel that we have certainly delivered a confidence-injecting result for the quarter. Tallink Grupp remains a slim-fit organisation and these results demonstrate that we firmly intend to become a dividend-paying company once again after the many crisis years. The fourth and final quarter of this year is already in full swing and, unless some significant unexpected events take place during the quarter, we should be able to fulfil our regular dividend-payment promise in 2025."
