UK’s Wight Shipyard Co merges with France’s OCEA

High-speedThe UK’s largest aluminium shipbuilder and fast ferry specialist, The Wight Shipyard Co, based at East Cowes, on the Isle of Wight, is to merge with French passenger ferry specialist, doubling the size of the shipbuilder. The deal is expected to be finalised in March.
