Jun 06 2018
High-speedWight Shipyard rolled out Red Funnel’s new high-speed passenger ferry RED JET 7 out of the building shed and lifted it into the water today, 6 June. Work on the new GBP 7 million vessel is well on track for sea trials to take place towards the end of June, with the 41.12m fast ferry scheduled to enter service between Southampton and West Cowes on 24 July, just in time for the busy Cowes Week yachting festival in the first week of August.
