Adria Ferries starts new Ancona to Bar line
FerryAdria Ferries announced that starting from 9 July 2024 it will operate on the new line between Ancona, Italy and Bar, Montenegro. The ferry connection will be guaranteed with departures from both ports on a bi-weekly basis.
The AF MIA, a ro-pax ferry that entered the Adria Ferries fleet in December 2023, is the ferry that will operate on the Ancona - Bar route. The ship, formerly the CRUISE SMERALDA of Grimaldi Lines, can accommodate more than 1,500 passengers and has approximately 200 cabins, all equipped with complete services. Among these, 14 suites with double beds, 12 of which are located on the upper deck and completely renovated in May 2024. The AF MIA is also equipped with an armchair lounge and large common areas that ensure a comfortable journey for all types of passengers. There are also cabins specifically designed for traveling with pets, and cabins equipped for the transport of people with reduced mobility (PMR).
The range of services on AF Mia is completed by a duty free and an area dedicated to children.
There are four bars on board, one of which is open-air which also offers freshly prepared pizza, kebabs and salads and one specializing in cocktails and premium drinks for a pleasant aperitif or after-dinner drink. There are two restaurants available to passengers, a self-service with around 300 seats and an à la carte characterized by a sophisticated environment and Italian and international cuisine recipes carefully prepared by the on-board chef.
