COSTA MAGICA sold to a Seajets company
CruiseA company belonging to Greece's Seajets have bought the former COSTA MAGICA from Carnival Corporation, thereby making it the fifth cruise ship in their possession. The ship has been renamed MYKONOS MAGIC and just as the other cruise ships in their fleet it will not be operated by them.
The cruise ships now belonging to Seajets include MAJESTY OF THE OCEANS (ex. Royal Caribbean’s MAJESTY OF THE SEAS), AEGEAN GODDESS (ex. P&O Cruises Australia’s PACIFIC ARIA), QUEEN OF THE OCEANS (ex. P&O Cruises’ OCEANA) and AEGEAN MAJESTY (ex. Holland America Line’s VEENDAM). All four were bought in 2020.
Seajets also bought another two cruise ships in 2020, but they have since been sent to breakers. These were CMV’s former MAGELLAN and COLUMBUS.
