ALBATROS
Cruise ship ALBATROS has technical problems
CruisePhoenix' ALBATROS had to anchor in the River Weser, shortly after departing Bremerhaven, already with more than 12 hours delay.
As Phoenix' CEO Benjamin Krumpen confirmed, there has been a loss in the normal maneuvering controls, and the emergency controls had to take over.
Now the onboard engineers will try to resolve the issue. At worst, the ship might have to return to Bremerhaven.
UPDATE
In the meantime, the damage could be fixed by the ship's own employees.
For technical inspection of the system by the manufacturer from Finland, a return to Bremerhaven is necessary.
She will moor again at the Columbus Cruise Centre, and will resume her voyage after the necessary checks.
