Malin Collin will be the new CEO of Port of Trelleborg
PortMalin Collin is appointed as new CEO of the Port of Trelleborg. She replaces current CEO Jörgen Nilsson, who has chosen to move on to new challenges.
The board of Port of Trelleborg has unanimously appointed Malin Collin as the new CEO and is convinced that Malin is the right person to drive the development of the company further forward.
“After an extensive and exciting recruitment process with many qualified applicants for the position, we have chosen Malin Collin based on her solid experience in leading positions. Malin also has very good knowledge of port operations through her many years of employment as deputy CEO of the Port of Gothenburg. I believe that Malin has the ability to continue developing Trelleborgs Hamn to meet future challenges, and we extend a warm welcome to her”, says Jan Isaksson, chairman of the board of the Port of Trelleborg.
Malin Collin comes most recently from a role as COO at Croisette, a global Real Estate Partner, where she is responsible for operations in four countries. Before that, Malin worked at the Port of Gothenburg for 16 years, where she held several leading positions, most recently as vice president. She has extensive experience in leading complex organizations through strategy, change and development work, in a national and international context, and has a good knowledge of the port, transport and logistics industry.
Port of Trelleborg’s relocation and expansion is basically completed and Malin looks forward with great enthusiasm to the journey to continue strengthening the company’s market position as Scandinavia’s largest ro-ro port.

My focus will be to strengthen the port’s competitiveness by investing in development in sustainability, efficiency and innovation. Together with our customers, employees and partners, we must ensure that the port continues to be a driving force for both local and global business”, says Malin Collin.
Malin Collin will start her new role by the end of February 2025 at the latest.
