Trident BMC presents containerized shore connection solution dedicated to container ships and Ro-Ro vessels
With a max capacity of 7500kVA it transfers power from the land based grid to any size container vessel. Receiving power from external energy source allows the vessel to shut down its auxiliary engines and eliminate emissions during port stays. The C-AMP 7500D contains all key components inside a 40ft container including cable reels, high voltage switchboard, control and monitoring cabinets and HVAC units.
Containerized Shore Power: C-AMP 7500D
Benefits:
• Adopting shore-side electricity can reduce SO2, NOx, and PM emissions at berth by up to 100%
• Eliminates noise pollution
• Fuel savings at port
• Improving Clean Shipping Index
• Additional benefits offered by port authorities and may include reduced port tariffs*
• Decreasing costs of maintenance of main engine
The design of the C-AMP 7500D is universal, allowing it to be used in both port- and starboard side. The container can be moved and stored elsewhere during voyage. The C-AMP 7500D is equipped with two cable reels, one for shore connection with automatic tension control and one to connect to ship’s electrical system.
Key services and activities part of C-AMP solution:
• Survey & feasibility study
• Engineering & design
• Procurement & manufacturing
• Class approval
• Main switchboard modifications
• Testing and commissioning
• Training
