AS Tallink Grupp 2024 financial results
FinanceAS Tallink Grupp reported a net profit of EUR 40.3 million for 2024, with an EBITDA of EUR 175 million, based on unaudited financial results released on 20 February 2025. The company transported nearly 5.6 million passengers and generated total revenue of EUR 786 million.
A dividend of EUR 0.06 per share is proposed for shareholders. Despite a challenging economic environment and low consumer confidence, CEO Paavo Nõgene highlighted the company's focus on cost control, efficient route operations, and additional revenue streams, expressing satisfaction with the results. The Estonia-Finland routes were the most successful segment, contributing EUR 313 million in revenue. Tallink operated 14 vessels, with three chartered out and two awaiting deployment decisions, while investing EUR 22.4 million in maintenance, upgrades, and IT. The company reduced its debt by EUR 87 million, reinforcing its goal to remain a stable, dividend-paying entity. Finnish passengers made up nearly half of the total, with Estonian and Swedish travelers comprising a quarter and less than 10%, respectively.
