ILMA for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection delivered
CruiseChantiers de l'Atlantique delivered ILMA, the first of two 242-metre ultra-luxury dual-fuel LNG cruise vessels for The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
The two ships will each be able to carry 456 passengers, with their exterior design being handled by Finnish yacht designer Aivan, while interior design is being handled by London based AD Design, as opposed to Tillberg Design of Sweden.
The profile and interior spaces will feature roomy public spaces and a large selection of top end passenger suites and categories, all with balconies. The new vessels will feature two upper suite categories, measuring up to 100m2.
The dual fuel vessels will be primarily powered by LNG, with MGO as a secondary fuel source. The design of the propulsion system is modular, which allows conversion to new fuel types, as and when they become available. Each vessel will be fitted with four dual fuel diesels and high efficiency propulsion pods, a heat recovery loop, advanced wastewater treatment systems and LED lighting.
Sister LUMINARA will be delivered in the summer of 2025.
