CruiseFred. Olsen Cruise Lines have announced a multi-million pound investment in 804-guest vessel BLACK WATCH which heads for dry dock at the Blohm+Voss yard Hamburg, Germany, on 18 November 2016.
Managing director Mike Rodwell said: 'BLACK WATCH is one of Fred. Olsen's most popular cruise ships, and it is important she always looks her best. Key focus of the refurbishment will the 423 cabins across six decks which will all receive a new interactive in-cabin TV system, equipped with latest features and connectivity. Bathrooms will be refurbished, and all cabins will feature safes and mini-bars as standard.
The Braemar Garden Café, on Lounge Deck 6, is to be converted into a new restaurant, to be called 'Brigadoon', in keeping with Fred.
