SALISH ORCA is ready for the long trip
FerrySALISH ORCA, the first of three so-called Intermediate Class ferries has left Gdansk for her long delivery trip to the West Coast of Canada.
The Salish Class vessels are being built at Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. in Gdansk, Poland and are scheduled to be in service for the summer of 2017.
SALISH ORCA will be arriving in Canada at the end of the year and will enter service on the Comox-Powell River route following several months of crew training.
Her first stop en route is Tenerife.
