Similar cabins decorated with Marimekko’s products, have been available aboard the company’s sister ship on the route, SILJA SERENADE, already since 2023.

Tallink Silja Line has a long-standing collaboration with the iconic Finnish lifestyle design brand Marimekko. Found in nearly every Finnish home, the brand is also becoming increasingly popular among travelers from other parts of Europe and Asia.

From now, both legendary ships on the company’s Helsinki-Stockholm route, SILJA SERENADE and SILJA SYMPHONY, offer Marimekko styled Commodore Balcony cabins. The cooperation project with Marimekko aimed to harmonize the travel experience between the sister ships and provide passengers with even more comfortable, stylish and enjoyable cruise experiences. Tallink Grupp is continually seeking new partnerships and ways to enhance the cruise experience for their passengers.

SILJA SYMPHONY has a total of 34 Commodore-class cabins, of which 12 are Marimekko-themed cabins with balconies, and 22 are non-balcony cabins. These cabins are located on decks 10 and 11 of the vessel.  

Tallink Silja Line and Marimekko have a long-standing cooperation on various projects. For example, Marimekko home products in Puketti -pattern, designed exclusively for Tallink Silja Line, are available for purchase on the vessels. Additionally, to celebrate the Silja Line brand’s 60th anniversary in 2017, a special Unikko mug, featuring the colors of Silja Line brand, was launched. These mugs are still in use on the vessels, including at the onboard restaurant Bon Vivant, as part of breakfast service.
